IDS majors are required to take three courses with us:
- Foundations of Interdisciplinary Studies (IP 2000)
- Lifelong Learning Lab (IP 2510)
- Interdisciplinary Studies Senior Seminar (IP 4500)
Foundations of IDS is where students build their customized major.
Lifelong Learning Lab is a course open to all Plymouth State students, regardless of major. It is an exploration of ideas of interdisciplinarity, the Habits of Mind, and group work.
IDS Senior Seminar is a capstone course in which students bring various elements of their major together in a term-long project.
